This is the last step in the sculpture process. If your work is small, we can
mount your sculpture on either a wood, marble or bronze base. If you have
a larger piece, we can install it at the location you desire. You may need to
have a cement pad ready per our instructions. We will be happy to work with you
on this final step.
If this is your first sculpture, or one of many, please remember that bronze
casting is a long and complicated process. Many of the steps are still done by
hand. Even though we do our best, things do occasionally go wrong and we need
time to correct them. It is a good idea to plan on a MINIMUM of 4-6 months for
your job to be completed, depending on our current schedule. Sometimes things go
faster, sometimes they go slower, contingent on many factors, including you,
your customer and our work schedule. If you are working on a commission and are
unsure how to price your work or what kind of schedule to give in your proposal,
please call us with your questions several weeks in advance of your proposal
deadline, and we will be glad to help you with advice. For accurate pricing, it
is best to have at least a small model of the final sculpture. Pricing can be
done from detailed drawings, but the quote may change once the sculpture is in
the shop. Carolina Bronze Sculpture prides itself on our customer service and
quality work. We would love to work with you on your artwork. Give us a call!
